Do I need a Doctors referral?

No, you can self-refer to a Physio. That means you don’t need a doctor’s referral. Physiotherapists are also able to order x-rays / ultrasound scanning of certain injuries and work in conjunction with your GP or Medical Specialist. We are also able to refer to some Medical Specialists such as Sport and Exercise Physicians and Orthopaedic Surgeons.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. This allows easy access to the area requiring assessment and treatment. If you have been given a referral letter or ACC details from another practitioner please bring this with you.

How long is an appointment?

Treatment times are typically up to 30 minutes. This can vary depending on the complexity of your injury.

Are there any conditions that this Physiotherapy Clinic does not treat?

We are a musculo-skeletal (MSK) outpatient physiotherapy so our staff are all trained in the treatment of strains, sprains, bone, joint and muscle injuries.

Unfortunately, we do not treatment Womens Health specific conditions, primary neurological conditions such as Stroke or Parkinsons disease or cardio-respiratory conditions.

Please contact us if you are unsure - we are also happy to make recommendations if a condition sits outside of our area of expertise.

How do I make an appointment?

The easiest option is to give us a call on 03 366 0088 to speak with one of our friendly reception staff. Otherwise you can use our online booking form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
