The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) (Māori: Te Kaporeihana Āwhina Hunga Whara) is the New Zealand Crown entity responsible for administering the country’s no- fault accident injury compensation scheme, commonly referred to as the ACC scheme.
ACC works with healthcare providers such as Physios to support return to work, recreational activities, sport and everyday life after accidents. ACC supports by part-paying the cost of treatment and access to other medical and health services through private and public healthcare. In some instances, ACC also covers loss of earnings following injury.
If appropriate, we can help you in registering a claim with ACC.
Will health insurance cover the cost of my appointments or help with the ACC co-payment?
Everybody’s insurance is different, so you are best to contact your provider and discuss with them directly.
